happy father's day
We had a wonderful afternoon watching Papa play soccer and then out to dinner with Grandpa T and Jean.
And then we got to Skype with Grandpa and Grammie V, whom we'll be seeing real soon! Thank you, Papas and Grandpas--we love you!

r's romper
Here's the romper for R, mentioned in the previous post. Made out of a rayon blend knit and turned into a romper by just extending the skirt portion several inches, shirring the leg openings and adding three snaps at the crotch. Perfect for summertime activities such as dancing

heading out to lunch
Baby got to try out a new top to meet up with some friends at Cracker Barrel (love it!), and she was quite excited about the opportunity!
We paired it with a little hoodie since it's still freezing here in June. This surprises no one, although Baby looks a little bashful about it.
Of which I have now made four versions: a top for Cousin M (forgot to take a pic), this top for Baby R,
this dress for R
and a romper for M.

This is a variation of Simplicity 4203,

Scratch that, I've made five versions. Also made a romper for R, which I need a pic of. Obviously, it's a very versatile pattern and I love that it has elastic in the back to get a snug fit, but one that should last over the course of a few months. It's also very easy to size up or down, which is good because the pattern sizing is way off, as tends to be the case. There will be more to come from this one!
